Deserted Village

We gave this man a lift to Rethimnon, on Crete.  Unfortunately,  he insisted on stopping at several tavernas on the way, and by the time we arrived he was a bit worse for wear.  The village in the background was deserted because it was impossible to get an electricity supply to it, so the people moved to a new village built for them on the other side of the valley
