Bereavement

This  was one of the very first images I was successful with in exhibitions, many years ago.   I met this man in a park in Rethimnon on the island of Crete.  He told me he had lost his wife, so when I came home I put him outside a lttle cemetary I came across on the other side of the island.   I later found out that this was the exact place where his wife was buried
